Japanese Patinated Bronze Heron Form Inkstand, Meiji period. Figural heron, wings open to reveal inkwell with porcelain liner, articulated beak acts as notepad holder. Perched on a log form pen holder, lilypad form base with frog. Apparently unmarked.
Approximate weight: 4.5 lbs
Measurements: Approx., 8 inches diameter x 6 inches tall
