Half-terrestrial and half-aquatic animal it can sometimes be found with various other characteristics like a peacock tail.

This depiction shows a body with scales, a fish-like body, short legs, a coiled trunk, fangs, a mane and small ears.

The repousse is attached to a rod on a plinth.
