Handsome portrait of Napoleon in uniform, without a hat. Sight approximately 2 ⅛ x 1 ¾”. Framed under glass in a 19th century brass frame accented with silk (this frame was most likely employed at a somewhat later date in the 19th century; it is quite possible that this miniature was originally used as a brooch or similar decoration). Frame size approximately 4 ¼ x 3”. A small hairline crack is barely visible on the right portion of the miniature. Very good.
