Antique small Victorian porcelain bowl by Hermann Ohme, Nieder Salzbrunn, Silesia Germany, (now Szczawienko, Poland), 1900s-1910s.
The mark includes the letter 'O' above a fancy letter 'H'. It was used with "Silesia" beneath it from 1900 to 1920.
The bowl is 6.3/4" x 5" [17.2cm x 12.7cm], c.1.1/4" [3.2cm] deep, some gold wear, very good condition.
"Porzellanfabrik Hermann Ohme" was established in 1882 in Nieder-Salzbrunn (today Polish Szczawienko), located in German region Silesia. The factory made dinner sets, household, hotel, and decorative porcelain for the European and U.S. market. The company concentrated on export porcelain after 1913, but went bankrupt in 1930 during the Great Depression.
