Description
Rare, impressive and highly coveted, this 1930s - 1940s bridle is lavishly adorned with Hulbert's silver, exemplified by his very distinctive engraving, especially apparent on the buckles. The bridle has numerous adornments, including scalloped conchos, ferrules and a floral cut-out face drop. The bridle is attached to an Olsen-Nolte silver overlaid Monel spade bit. Overall, a very impressive package from the renowned Montana maker. Excellent condition. Provenance: Ex George Pitman Collection, Rancho Santa Fe, CA
