Roman, Imperial period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. A wheel-thrown redware pottery pitcher with a tall, collared neck, a thick handle, and a squat foot, with 3 pairs of applied phytomorphic emblems adorning the incised midsection. Size: 5.25" Diameter x 7.125" H (13.3 cm x 18.1 cm)
Provenance: private Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA collection, inherited via grandfather, who collected before 1980
