This is an expressive and decorative bronze statue depicting a nude Egyptian prince in a very naturalistic pose standing on a marble base. He stands with his eyes closed; his face completely peaceful with his hands clenched by his side. His decorative headpiece drapes from the top of his forehead down his back and is finished in a lush multi color patina, complemented by a green patina base. This striking bronze is brought to life with its rare and complex fiery blended patina. This bronze sculpture is a masterful and fine detailed execution cast using the lost wax method and is signed by artist Milo. Notice the authenticity of this recast of the original sculpture by examining the head torso and hand positions. Poor reproductions do not use the original mold and create their sculptures based on artist's renditions.
