BIOGRAPHY, & 3rd INFANTRY DIVISION HISTORY. This fine lot of military Americana includes a funeral card for the memorial service of Audie Murphy at Church of the Hills, Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills, California. Also included is a biography titled “Audie Murphy: American Solider” by Harold B. Simpson. The first few pages of the book are covered with scores of signatures from members of the 15th Infantry, which was Audi Murphy’s unit. The book tells the story of one of America’s greatest and most decorated military heroes of all time. Also included is a unit history of the 3rd Infantry Division, which was home to the 15th Infantry and Audie Murphy. CONDITION: the card shows light storage wear only. The autobiography is in fine condition, with clear, legible signatures. The paper cover has a few minor tape repairs. The 3rd Infantry history remains quite solid but has some toning to the pages.
