18th century style Tiffany & Co. mantle clock hand painted in the manner of Vernis Martin, a French 18th century furniture decorator. The 8-day brass clock movement is stamped Tiffany 7 Co. The clock dates to the 1880's. The hours are struck on a coiled gong on the hour and half hour. The decorations include an 18th century pastoral scene on the front lower case and floral sprays throughout. The metal scroll trim pieces are cast in brass. the face is porcelain and is in great condition. Clock measures 18" tall x 10" wide
