Description
An Early Coin Silver Ladle, Mark of Andrew Tyler
with "AT" stamped in a rectangle, plain rounded end and pointed fins, bright cut engraved monogram to handle.

Andrew Tyler was born in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1692. He apprenticed under John Coney circa 1705. He was the master to George Hanners circa 1710-1717, and to Samuel Burril circa 1717. He was appointed as scavenger, assessor, and fireward in Boston circa 1720 to 1727. He died in Boston in 1741
