Chicago, circa 1909-1957, a divided dish, oval form with scalloped rim and center handle, all over hammered exterior, with applied "S" monograms at each side for the Seely Family.

Fred Loring Seely (American, 1871-1942) was an American newspaperman, chemist, inventor, and philanthropist who founded the Grove Park Inn and purchased the Biltmore Estate Industries from Edith Vanderbilt in 1917.
Inherited through the Seely Family of Asheville, North Carolina.
