the first with Austrian hallmarks, Vienna, 1818, with "VR" maker's mark, rectangular form with swing handle, the body crafted from intricate wirework in the form of six petal flowers with central boss, no monogram (4 3/4 x 4 1/2 x 3 1/4 in.); the second of circular form with Neoclassical style cutwork to tapered sides and applied beading, swing handle, Dutch 2nd standard hallmark with key to indicate production for export, other unidentified hallmarks (3 1/2 in. diameter).
