COMMERATIVE FLINTLOCK PISTOLS. Both cal. 58. S#'s 80A & 80B. Bbls. 8" brass. 1976 made Belgian repros of the pistols owned by George Washington. Only 975 pairs of these pistols issued by the U.S. Historical Society. Bbls. marked "LONDON" & w/ circled "E LG" proofs. Locks both have two eagle markings. Silver furniture w/ face on bottom of grip cap. Locks function well when hand cycled. Walnut stocks. Hardwood ramrods secured by a silver pipe & thimble. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: unmarked walnut display case w/ key and associated paperwork. CONDITION: all aspects near excellent. (01-25262/MJC). ANTIQUE. $1,800-2,750.
