Description
SILVER CITY NM". 32" overall, 6" mouth, brown leather, four 2" riveted leather tabs for saddle straps. Marked with large 2" oval cartouches on either side: "A.D. SEITZLER & CO / MAKERS / SILVER CITY NM". CONDITION: good overall, partially opened sewn seam, areas of craquelure on one side, but superior overall for most similar 100 year old saddle accoutrements. PROVENANCE: Little John Auction Oct. 2010; Martin Lane Historic & Western Americana Lifetime Collection. (02-21609/JS). $400-600.
