Original black & white engraving on paper attributed to American photographer, artist, and antiquarian Wallace Nutting. It depicts a polished grandfather clock set between thick curtains and a wooden staircase that Nutting published originally in The Clock Book in 1924. Signature in graphite on lower right: illegible. Edition number on lower left: 34/175. Housed in a dark brown wooden frame and an ecru linen mat with a gold border. Artwork dimensions: 13.50"L x 23.50"H. Frame size: 25.50"L x 35.50"H x 1.75"W.
