Description
Reno, Washington County, 1840s, mixed woods. Simple classical mantel, with peaked pediment. 62" high, 79" wide (overall), 41" high, 52" wide (opening). This mantel was salvaged from an 1840s house that was located in Reno, near where the Little Muskingum empties into the Ohio River.
Condition
Old cream paint is flaking, and there is some charring at the opening
