Chinese Qing Dynasty Yongzheng Blue and White Phoenix Porcelain Plate. The plate has a broad wide central interior, rounded mouth lip, thick and large, raised on correspondence footed ring base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white base color which contrast against blue color, depicted of flying phoenix through flowers bloom foliage and scrolling interlocking tendril. The Phoenix Feng-Huang represents exquisiteness, goodness, warmth, prosperity, peace, the Sun, abundant harvests, and reason in government. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within blue ring lines. Made in The Years Yongzheng Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
