Cabinet photograph on cardstock mount (minimal wear). With hand-stamped "Chief Gall" over Barry's West Superior imprint on recto and Chief Gall logo on verso. Gall wears a fringed buckskin coat with fur cuffs and a large trade silver cross around his neck.
Chief Gall (ca 1840-1894) was famous for his military efforts in the wars against the US and for his participation in the Battle of Little Bighorn in 1876.
