Description
STEREOS. McKay, Arthur L. (Decorah, Iowa). SNOW-BOUND: "McKay's Views, taken on the Iowa Division of the Milwaukee & St. Paul Railroad, between Conover and Ridgway, Iowa, after the great storm of Jan. 7th and 8th, 1873." A lot of 9 together, series complete. Mounted to cardstock, handwritten captions, each with printed labels mounted to versos. Used for publishing at The Register & Tribune Co. in Des-Moines, Iowa, with posted envelope fixed with publisher's mailing label made out to Mrs. M.B. Davis of Lime Spring, Iowa. Generally good condition: stereos generally toned, some fading, occasional spotting; envelope worn with tears/creasing at edges, label similarly worn. *Additional images and detailed condition reports available upon request.
