Description
Native American, Southwestern United States, Hopi, ca. mid-20th century CE. A set of 5 hand-built and stone-burnished pottery vessels including a petite pitcher, an inverted piriform vase, an ovoid dish, a shallow bowl with an overhanging rim, and a large jar with a flared rim. Each vessel is decorated with either black or black and red pigment atop the cream-orange grounds. Size of largest: 4.9" W x 3.875" H (12.4 cm x 9.8 cm)

Condition
Each vessel with minor abrasions and light fading to pigment, otherwise intact and very good. Great motifs throughout. Petite pitcher has a black-painted frog on the base.
