Two Chinese carved cinnabar lacquered vases. one with ovoid body and flared oval foot, with curved neck ,deeply incised with Chinese figure in landscape on both sides. Other vase has wide flared rectangular base with curved body and long neck that tapers and expands to a rectangular mouth, also with figures in landscape design on four sides, both neck and foot carved with scrolling lotus design

Condition: both in good condition with minor surface wear and lose to lacquer around the rim and foot ring
