Near East, Iran, possibly Kashan region, ca. 13th century CE. A shallow pottery plate covered in creamy yellow-hued glaze with streaks of black and turquoise around the rim. Within the basin are pattern-molded foliate motifs, and in the center is a petite, abstract bird with outstretched wings. Size: 5.8" Diameter x 1.125" H (14.7 cm x 2.9 cm)

Condition
Minor nicks and abrasions, with small chips along topside, and light fading to glaze pigment, otherwise intact and very good. Nice remains of glaze throughout.
