FABERGE, AN IMPORTANT JEWELLED CHALCEDONY MODEL OF A POUTER PIGEON, ST PETERSBURG CIRCA 1900 naturalistically carved to depict a standing pouter pigeon, set to the eyes with circular cabochon rubies, apparently unsigned. Height 5.7cm (2.25 inches). Provenance - The property of Lady Juliet Duff (1881-1965), née Lowther. - With Wartski until October 1989. - The property of Harry Woolf. - Acquired by the present owner from Christie's London, 29 November 2021 (GBP £112,500).
