A late 18th/early 19th C. molded red painted blanket box on a cutout base, 22”H x 39”W x 15.5”D. A 19th C. country blanket box in old red stain, 22”H x 42.25”L x 16”D. Both in early and likely original red paint/stain. Provenance: Cain Collection.

Condition

Both with minor shrinkage separations, wear and abrasions, later example with likely reworked lid molding.
