At reverse: "PAINTED BY Rodney Charles Hardee / PAINTING #228 / JESUS LOVEs YOU! / Dear Friends, I call this picture 'The Black Cat in the Flower Garden'. I have been / very busy over the holiday. I'm trying to straighten up the garage (its [sic] not easy when your [sic] a 'pack-rat') / I've given countless boxes of stuff to charity and some [to?] flea market dealers I wanted to help. I'm now / giving away odd shaped picture frames I have accumulated. When I go to the flea market if I take / 2 boxes and only buy 1 I am making progress - no? We are getting ready for a group show of FOLK ARTISTS, / at the Antiquarian Restaurant which is very nice! Well, hope you enjoy this!
