A Kayapo Feather Crown Amazonas, Brazil, c. 20th century A chief's ceremonial headdress or crown. A woven fiber net cap with many layers of bright yellow, blue, and blue-black domestic bird feathers (macaw and blackbird, all natural, not dyed). An orange macaw feather at top. In excellent condition. Presented on a mount with a suede covered base in an acrylic box.
