Description
Pair of Maurice Burke for Arkana Safari Lounge Chairs with one ottoman, English, early 21st century. In black leather, sling seats, ebonized frame elements, tubular chrome stretchers. Undersides impressed arkana, Bath England, Made in Great Britian. Chairs 28 x 24.75 x 24.5 inches, ottoman 15 x 20.75 x 25 inches. Provenance: The estate of Dr. Marshall S. and Lois G. Levy, Pittsburgh. Sourced for the couple by architect and designer Herb Seigle.
Condition
In overall good vintage condition, apart from some usage related wear commensurate with age and use. Ottoman with some accretions, chair seats with wear and abrasions.
