Anna Held in The Parisian Model. The Illustration on the verso is by August Hutaf. August "Gus" William Hutaf (1874-1942) was a multifaceted American artist during the 1900s. While best known for the iconic World War I recruiting poster "Treat 'Em Rough! Join the Tanks!", his talents spanned illustration, commercial art, advertising executive roles, and even sculpting and murals. A lifelong resident of Hoboken, New Jersey, Hutaf also designed illustrations, postcards, and even a poster-map of his hometown. Extremely rare. No other copies can be located. Not in WorldCat.
