Biography: Born in 1922 from a lineage of artists, Polak learned painting and drawing in the Ukraine from his father, a gifted and famous artist in Kiev, during the beginning of the last century. The Second World War stopped his art for a time while he served his country in the Russian Army. After the war, he completed his degree in art studies at the Kiev Institute of Arts. It was not until 1991 that he immigrated to Israel where he now maintains his studio. Hi works have been exhibited in numerous one - person and group exhibitions throughout the countries of the former Soviet Union as well as Europe, Israel and the U.S.
Polak’s originals have sold for more than $15,000.00.
