I. This lot consists of a drawing on hand-painted paper in the style of the KAWS painter. (November 4, 1974) known professionally as KAWS is an artist and designer of limited edition prints. His career as a graffiti artist began when he lived in Jersey City. Then, after moving to New York in the 1990s, KAWS began modifying advertising images on bus stops and phone booths. The acrylic paintings and sculptures made by KAWS contain many recurring images, all intended to be universally understood regardless of language or culture. Size in inches: 8 x 10 1/2
