Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC A plaster mummy mask with elongated eyes painted beneath thin brows, a modelled broad nose, and a closed mouth above a rounded chin. The forehead is framed by a black painted headdress. Size: 230mm x 205mm; Weight: 305g. Provenance: Private UK Collection; Ex Laurent Bermudez Primitive Arts, Berkeley, California, prior to July 1993. Previously in the Donald Wonder collection (1938-2023), California & New Jersey; thence by descent. This item has been cleared against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
