Rare Marathon Gasoline "Best in the Long Run" 4.5' Emb Porcelain Service Station Marquee Neon Sign

Description

SSP (Single Sided Porcelain) die cut embossed sign with added neon and a metal can has very good color and gloss. The sign features a large embossed "Running Man" graphic with brilliant two-color neon. The field has discoloration to the white porcelain enamel with small chips on the running man graphic. The outer fields have chips with unused factory mounting holes. The perimeter has additional chips which are primarily along the lower left corner and upper edges. The metal can is in good condition with areas of oxidation. Overall a seldom-seen Marathon neon sign with fantastic graphics. 56" H x 39.5" W x 10" D. Condition: 7.75+.
