DSP (Double Sided Porcelain) factory neon sign with Elgin clock and the original can with bullnose has excellent color and gloss. Side #1 is very clean overall with minor discoloration at the insulators and left outer field. The outer edges and the sign seams have a few small chips and the clock retaining ring has oxidation with missing mounting screws. The reverse has additional surface wear with cloudiness to the maroon porcelain enamel and a few small chips in the lower fields. The clock face has paint loss on the lower edges and the retaining ring is in a similar condition to the display. The bullnose has cloudiness with small chips along the outer edges. The metal can is in very good condition with oxidation and a factory union tag is intact on the side. The signs are marked Libby, Elgin, Ill. Overall an impressive Elgin sign and clock combination sign featuring brilliant neon. 60" H x 89" W x 16" D. Condition: 8.75+/8.0.
