Outstanding, historically significant SSP (Single Sided Porcelain) factory neon multi-piece sign with a new metal can has excellent color and gloss. This example was the original neon sign for the historic "Thunderbird Motel." It was displayed on Route 66 & Main Street in Miami, Oklahoma. The sign features five-color neon which perfectly accents the unique porcelain enamel colors. The fields are exceptionally clean with small chips at neon stand supports and along the sign panel edges. The perimeter has small chips along the edges with an area of line chips on the lower right corner. Overall a wonderful five-color neon sign from The Mother Road. 100" H x 192" W x 11" D.
