This collection of 1987 United Design corp. Nobel OK. Large African Elephant Statue with Babies is in excellent condition. No broken parts or loss of color. Some photos are darker and lighter gray due to lighting. The large elephant stands 10 ½” tall and is approximately 14” in length and weighs almost 20 pounds. The two babies stand 6” tall and 8” in length and weigh almost 4 pounds. Exquisite work on statues and one that you will be proud to display. A little history: NOBLE After more than three decades producing figurines, frames and other collectibles, United Design plans to close its doors by the end of the month (2004). A series of layoffs between 2000 and 2004 reduced the company's work force from more than 700 to about 40 employees who remain today. As of Jan. 1, about nine jobs with the company will remain local, said Terry Gardner, vice president of operations for the Encore Group, which acquired United Design in October.
