Description

English, circa 1880. Walking cane with carved globe handle showing longitude, latitude, and continents, sterling silver collar, ebony shaft, and metal ferrule.

Approximate measurements: length: 36.75"

Condition

Handle and cane are stable. No apparent chips or cracks to handle. Shaft has some scuffing and scratches from use. Ferrule has wear at the tip as well as plastic tape residue. Overall exhibits wear commensurate with age and use.
