Pair of Chinese Qing Dynasty JiaQing Famille Rose Lotus Bloom Motif Porcelain Lidded Jars. This porcelain has an round open mouth with a slightly out-turned lip, short neck with reverse bowl dome lid finial bud, leads to a convex bulging mid belly, globular oval body, raised on the ring foot base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in turquoise base color which contrast against famille rose design color, depicted of abundant lotus bloom, foliage , scrolling interlocking tendril and circle of Ruyi patterns surround the outer surface of the mouth. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed red script characters reign mark. Made in The Years JiaQing Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
