This collection of pieces of vintage postcards/paper ephemera consists primarily of unused, flattened, die-cut cardboard favor boxes and candy containers, dating from the mid-20th century. The items feature bright, saturated lithographed artwork characteristic of the 1940s through 1960s, designed to fold into small carrying cases with integrated handles. Imagery includes traditional Christmas scenes such as Santa Claus, reindeer in flight, Nativity scenes, and winter landscapes, including a church shown in a Silent Night setting. Greetings are predominantly in English ("Merry Christmas," "Noel") but also include the French translation "Joyeux Noel." These vintage items are preserved in their original, flattened state, ready for assembly or use in scrapbooking and craft applications.
