The collection consists of pieces of vintage postcards and paper ephemera, primarily dating from the 1930s through the 1950s. The lot is divided between two main subjects: interior views of residential spaces, featuring well-appointed bedrooms and dining areas characteristic of mid-century furnishings, rendered in both black-and-white and early color toning; and exterior views of the grave of Franklin D. Roosevelt, located at Springwood in Hyde Park, New York. One postally used example is postmarked August 1948, confirming the vintage nature of the collection. The cards are housed in eleven clear plastic archival sleeves.
