MARX PROTOTYPE 1941 TIN WINDUP AIRPLANE BOMBER

Description

Rare 1941 Marx Prototype tin windup Airplane Bomber that was purchased at one of the Marx Toy Hoard Auctions. The toy is handpainted and litho tin. The windup works but does not revolve the airplane. Marked "1941 ERIE X-136 underneath and has a 11-4-1978 show date tag indicating that this came from one of the Marx auctions. One of a kind Marx toy that was never put into production. Base is about 12" diameter and tower is about 9" high.
