An extensive archive of vintage postcards and paper ephemera documenting the history and operations of the Pennsylvania railroad network, centered primarily on the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania and the Strasburg Railroad. This collection includes numerous full-color brochures, special event guides (spanning 2002 through 2008), photographic postcards, and reproductions of watercolor artwork depicting engines and scenes from locations such as Philadelphia, Harrisburg, Leola Valley, Ephrata Cloister, and Lancaster County, PA. The central item is a staple-bound softcover booklet, THE RAILROAD MUSEUM OF PENNSYLVANIA | A PICTORIAL GUIDE. Also present are various historical and modern receipts (dated through 2011), as well as multiple vintage Pennsylvania Railroad Company ticket stubs for travel between Philadelphia and Harrisburg. One ticket stub bears the apparent signature of "John Fordi."
