A collection of vintage postcards and paper ephemera documenting the popular tourist attraction Santa's Workshop, North Pole, N. Y. and Wilmington, N. Y. These chrome postcards feature color photographs, many credited to Herbert Lanks, showing Santa, reindeer, cabins, and crowds of visitors at the park. Visible publishers include SANTA�S WORKSHOP and GAINES-MORRISON. The collection spans two decades, with postmarks and handwritten inscriptions dating from at least 1957 through the early 1970s, many bearing the desirable NORTH POLE, N. Y. postmark. This lot includes views of Santa and his obedient Reindeer, Santa's Wonderful Reindeer, and various scenes of the village and the Gateway to the North Pole.
