ABOUT THE ARTIST: Grebennik Vitaliy Sergiyovich – was born on 13th of May, 1928 in the Krolevets village, Sumy region. He graduated from the Kyiv Art Institute in 1956. Mentors: V. Kostetskiy, I. Shtilman, T. Yablonska. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1963. He worked in the Chernihiv and Kyiv workshops of art funds of the Ukrainian SSR from 1959 to 1988. He participated in regional, republican, and all-union art exhibitions since 1957. Personal exhibitions were held in Chernigiv (1957), and Krolevets (2003). The main works: “Polisya” (1965); “Return to the Field” (1957), “On the Fields of Ukraine”, “Morning in Sedniv” (1961), “Near Kanev” (1965), “Spring at Polisya” (1969), “Post-War Years” (1971), “Desnyansky meadows”, “Polesye of Chernigiv region” (1975), “Silence”, “Silence, and the fields are noisy around” (1980), “Lavra spring” (1982), “Doctor” (1984).
