ABOUT THE ARTIST: Gebus-Baranetska Stefania Mefodiivna – was born on the 9th of December, 1905 in Peremyshl town, Poland. Honored Artist of USSR since 1972. Member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1958. She studied at A. Novakovski Art School in Lviv and Lviv Polytechnic Institute. Mentor - Tirovich L. Worked in the technique of woodcuts. Author of more than 300 graphic works. Since 1937, she participated in art exhibitions. Personal exhibitions took place in Lviv in 1959, 1962, 1982, 1995. The works are kept in the museums of Lviv, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Bryansk, and Kursk. Stefania Mefodiivna died on the 22nd of April, 1985.
