It is metal instead of bronze but the quality of design is here .It was done with the same casting than a bronze and the detail of the piece are very fine . Impressive, large, patinated metal on marble base animal sculpture by Irenee Rochard (1906-1984). Famous for bringing his animal subjects to life, giving them an intelligence to bring out their personality, their greatness, or their fierceness.
