Description: Renzo Rutili for Johnson Furniture Company chest with bench, circa late 1950s. This Asian influenced example has bleached wood doors and ebonized cabinets and a two-seat wicker bench. The interior of the chest has an adjustable shelf and the case is finished on the front and back. The wicker of the bench has bronze accents along the corners. The original black lacquer is in excellent condition for its age.
