Antique Large CT Germany Divided Vegetable Dish. Transfer ware with hand painted highlights and hand painted gold trim. CT Germany was first part of a mark used by a company in Altwasser, Germany (now part of Walbrzych, Poland), in 1845. The mark was used by Carl Tielsch.
The Hutschenreuther firm took over the company in 1918 and continued to use the CT. CT Germany was used by the Hutschenreuther firm even after the Altwasser factory, now part of Walbrzych, Poland and was nationalized by the Polish government. The green CT mark was used between 1875 -1935. This piece looks very Victorian. Size is 14" long x 11" wide x 5" tall plus handle.
