Stunning painting by California artist Glenna Putt (American 1929-2016) in 1975 portrays men working in the Copper Souk, possibly in Marrakesh, Morocco. Nicely framed in thin gold, with the original purchase receipt from the Summa Gallery in Brooklyn in 1977 as well as a Katonah Gallery label attached to the back. Dimensions are 44.25 in h x 44.25 in w x 1.25 in d. Condition is very good with minor wear to the frame.
