This basket is very sturdy and strong. It's only flaw is that it has been left to tarnish a bit but it still looks great. The major tarnish is on the inside of the basket which can be covered by using a nice cloth napkin to disguise this. Feel free to brush some silver polish all over with a good silver cleaner. This piece is marked on the bottom "Hand Made"
