Italian Green Glazed Dragon Spout Pot on Hongmu Wooden Stand

Description

This green glazed dragon spout pot or jug, is made in Italy and features a typical French style glaze. The dragon spout and added Hongmu wooden stand make this a good fit for Chinoiserie style décor. The pot looks great from every angle and is in very good vintage condition, as is the wooden stand. The bottom of the pot has a few minor scuffs or scratches to the finish; see photograph. There are no noted cracks structural issues with this large piece. The glazed jug is 9.5 inches wide, by 8 inches in depth and is 13.25 inches in height. The stand is 8 inches in diameter and 2 inches in height with a recessed center. With the jug on the stand, the overall height increases to 14.25 inches.
